That midnight bronze Cerakote finish looks even better in person, and the textured Micarta scales give me a solid grip even with wet hands. The 3.4" blade came shaving sharp out of the Kydex sheath. Carried it on a hike this weekend and barely noticed the weight.

The S45VN steel has held a working edge through a week of box breakdown and light batoning without needing a touch-up. Cerakote is holding up better than I expected too, just a couple of scuffs after hitting it against a firesteel.

The burlap micarta handle has a really nice grippy texture, way better than the smooth scales on my old fixed blade. S45VN held an edge through a weekend of breaking down boxes and whittling, and the kydex sheath snaps in tight with no rattle.
