Thee guys at Uncharted Supply Co are often asked why they don't include a tourniquet in their survival systems. In short, it's because a tourniquet can cause further injury when not used properly. And most people haven't been trained to use one.

The Slishman Pressure Wrap was created to make applying a tourniquet or pressure
bandage simpler for an untrained user.

Using the wrap is intuitive - apply direct pressure and wrap around the wound.
If too much pressure is applied, the wrap can be easily adjusted as to not make
the injury worse.

The Slishman can also be more easily applied one-handed, allows a much broader
application use as a pressure bandage for a more longitudinal arm or leg
laceration, and allows for placement of gauze underneath.  It can even be used
to secure a splint in the event of a fracture.

Joshua M. ★★★★★

Used this on a nasty leg gash during a camping trip and it held firm through a mile hike back to the car. The elastic is just tight enough to apply good pressure without cutting off circulation.

Zoe ★★★★★

Finally, a pressure wrap that doesn't dig in or slip around. The wide elastic band stayed perfectly in place during my entire hike, and the adjustable clip let me dial in just the right amount of compression without any pinching. Exactly what I needed for a sprained ankle.

Harper G. ★★★★★

I keep this in my truck's first aid kit and the pressure wrap finally gives me something I can actually use on a deep cut without worrying about doing more harm. The wrap applies steady pressure without cutting off circulation the way a tourniquet would, which is exactly what I wanted for my family'
