The desert ironwood scales have a really nice grain that stands out against the black G10, and the textured grip makes it feel secure even with wet hands. This one’s a perfect size for everyday carry, and the leather sheath is a nice touch.

The acid etch on the S45vn blade gives it a rugged look that hides scratches well, and the brass and coyote G10 split really pops against the buckeye burl. It's slim enough at .14" thick to carry comfortably, and the leather sheath fits snug right out of the box.

The desert ironwood handle has a rich, warm feel in the hand, and the mosaic pins add a really nice visual pop against the black G10. Blade came shaving sharp out of the box, and the leather sheath fits snugly with a good snap.
