Broke this in on a weekend camping trip and the S45VN blade held its edge through plenty of feather sticks and food prep. The acid etch and rock wash finish hides wear beautifully, and the kydex sheath snaps in with a satisfying click. Four inches of blade at just over eight overall is a sweet spot
