Carried this on a weekend hike and it handled feather sticks and rope without needing a touch-up. The 3.8-inch S45VN blade holds an edge way better than my old beater, and the sculpted grip locks in even with wet hands.

The canvas micarta handle has a nice grip even with sweaty hands, which I didn't expect from a knife this small. S45VN steel holds an edge through a lot of cardboard and rope without needing a touch-up. The closed tang lanyard hole is a small detail but it keeps the profile clean in my pocket.

The canvas micarta grip feels broken-in right out of the box, way grippier than the smooth scales on my old EDC. Only nitpick is the sheath retention, it's a touch loose for my taste, but the S45VN blade has held an edge through a month of box duty.
